Collection
The Evansville Wartime Museum’s collection includes over 13,000 artifacts, many of which have been donated or are on loan from the community. While we strive to exhibit as many items in the collection as possible, the majority of artifacts are stored for use in research and future exhibitions, or are undergoing restoration—all in accordance with museum standards. As a museum, we are committed to refreshing exhibits on a consistent basis, while maintaining a thoughtful and objective approach.
Searching for more info on a specific company or event? Many of our artifacts can be found online in our digital archives. This is an ongoing effort, so always be sure to return as new items are added.

Open 7 Days a week, 11am – 4pm
Last admission to the museum is at 3:30PM CST
Closed Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, & New Years Day
