Evansville Wartime Museum Announces Reopening with New Days & Hours Evansville Wartime Museum Announces Reopening with New Days & Hours

The Evansville Wartime Museum is excited to announce it will be reopening to the public with new days and hours starting Saturday, August 3, as follows:

• Summer Hours:  April through September
  • Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday:  10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Sunday:  12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday and Wednesday closed
    
• Winter Hours:  October through March
  • Thursday through Monday:  12:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday and Wednesday:  closed

While the museum has temporary repairs in place on the roof and hangar doors, work has not yet begun on permanent repairs to damage caused by a macroburst in early April. The contract is currently being finalized by EVV Airport and the repair work may require the museum to close for a couple of months on weekdays.  Updates on potential closings will be announced on media releases and on our Facebook page.

Our bi-monthly Lunch, Learn and Share events on the 1^st and 3^rd Thursdays of every month will continue at the VFW Branch 1114 on Wabash until repairs are complete.
