The Evansville Wartime Museum is excited to announce it will be reopening to the public with new days and hours starting Saturday, August 3, as follows:
- Summer Hours: April through September
- Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Tuesday and Wednesday closed
- Winter Hours: October through March
- Thursday through Monday: 12:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Tuesday and Wednesday: closed
While the museum has temporary repairs in place on the roof and hangar doors, work has not yet begun on permanent repairs to damage caused by a macroburst in early April. The contract is currently being finalized by EVV Airport and the repair work may require the museum to close for a couple of months on weekdays. Updates on potential closings will be announced on media releases and on our Facebook page.
Our bi-monthly Lunch, Learn and Share events on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of every month will continue at the VFW Branch 1114 on Wabash until repairs are complete.

Open 7 Days a week, 11am – 4pm
Last admission to the museum is at 3:30PM CST
Closed Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, & New Years Day
